Easy remedy is using a counter weight on the legs. I spent a lot of time reviewing all the stands at MEC before purchasing this one. Right out of the box, the set-up was a royal pain. The base requires you to push a metal pin through to secure the front two legs in place. Some people recommend putting sandbags on the legs, but if I pay 400+ for a bike stand I would expect it to stay standing.

Faulty Items
While the clamp design is good, the main flaw with this tripod design is it is very tippy. Especially when doing things like taking off one wheel. It completely changes the weight distribution and then tips over unless you rotate the legs to some position where the bike can’t tip.

Perfect for use in your office, home or on the road. Feedback Sports products are used by the most demanding mechanics and athletes all over the world in their homes, at the races or on the trail. I was also looking at stands that cost up to $200, but I they were not six times better, so this is a good value. And, if this one does break, I’ll just buy another and still have saved a lot of money. As long as I don’t abuse it, I think it will do what I need it to for a long time.
About this product
I am now able to work on my 24” Cruiser very comfortably. Holds the bike very well, easy to assemble and disassemble. Easy to adjust the height, in addition to the angle. The bar to hold the fork and wheel is an added bonus.
This is the one everyone is talking about, but you can only get it here. The Rad Cycle Products Pro Bicycle Stand holds up to 66 pounds effortlessly in its heavy duty Work Horse clamps that are engineered not to harm your bikes finish. I have a bunch of bikes including several eBikes. I needed something that could easily support 75 lbs or more. Only possible gripe is that it’s pretty tall even on the lowest setting. The quality of the engineering and construction is just so much better than the Park Tools rival – which I’ve seen in several LBSs.
Feedback Sports Ultralight Repair Stand
With this professional repair stand from CXWXC, you can keep the bike at a comfortable height so you can easily access all parts. If you also need the stand when traveling, you can simply press the quick release device, fold the stand together and store it in the car – it’s that simple. Quickly folds down for storage and transport with a smooth-operating leg support system that pulls both legs up in one simple motion. Featuring an integrated height-adjustable parts tray, as well as accessory ports, your tools and small parts are always within reach.
Symple Stuff If you ride your bicycle almost every day, regular maintenance is a must. In order to avoid lying down on the ground for small repairs, a bicycle assembly stand is ideal. Simply clamp your bike into the holder and you can inspect your mobile base from all sides.
I wanted something plastic-free and that wouldn’t be made in China. Got three of these and it has worked well for both cruise and race bikes. Secure, telescopic tripod base is 25% bigger than the previous version, for increased stability and capacity.

A multitude of reviews suggest the legs can move inward when moving the stand, and owners have implemented customized solutions to prevent his from happening. I plan add some custom straps to keep the legs separated during use and prevent any unintended collapse of the unit. And also if you run flat pedals there is not enough clearance to spin the cranks around without the pedals hitting the stand.
I look forward to using outside in my garden, once the sleet, rain, wind and darkness all go away!. This stand is the value point for the weekend mechanic who isn’t swapping out bike-afte-bike onto the stand. If that’s you, get the next tier up Feedback Sports Pro-Elite ($$$).
The wide base means you need space to extend the legs. I chose this over other models that had quick release clamps. Since they were plastic/metal it felt like a weak point. This model has simple, easy to use threaded knobs to adjust height, extend the legs and tighten the bike clamp. It is solid and built of steel, not lightweight aluminum.
